About Morgan County Economic Development

The Morgan County Economic Development office is a government office under the Morgan County Commissioners and works to provide countywide support to all villages and townships within Morgan County. Additionally, the office provides programs and support to small businesses, homeowners, and service programs to community members of Morgan County.

“Our mission is to sustain and grow Morgan County’s economy and outstanding quality of life, by providing leadership and resources for business creation, expansion, retention and community development”.

Since 2005, Morgan County’s Economic Development has helped fund over $30 million in projects in Morgan County. Economic Development projects include activities that improve infrastructure, including waterline extensions and public sewer improvements, better our public safety, improve our parks, and foster endless ways to incentivize and attract new businesses and jobs while retaining existing businesses.
